THE KINGDOM OF LIES is a bold new gospel musical World Premiere fusing gospel, jazz, and hip-hop with 19 original songs, dynamic choreography, and a story that exposes deception and points people back to the truth that sets them free.

At the center is Pastor Carl—a man carrying a message the kingdom of darkness cannot afford the world to hear. That is exactly why the Lying King locks in. As Carl’s family begins to unravel under the weight of deception, audiences are pulled into a gripping battle between truth and lies, freedom and bondage, darkness and light. Directed by USC School of Dramatic Arts professor Bayo Akinfemi (CBS’s Bob Hearts Abishola), with choreography by an Emmy-nominated choreographer, featuring a live band and a cast of 20+ performers.
